Exciting Victory for the Optimist Badminton Youth
We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our students Anaira Sonare and Arna Sarathy from group 7 DEP in the Badminton Youth Competition Phase 2 (2024-2025), held in the Silver category. Both Anaira and Arna, who represented BC Meershuttle as part of the J5 team, have made us incredibly proud with their impressive performance.
Anaira Sonare claimed third place overall, while Arna Sarathy secured 12th place in the Silver category. Their incredible skills and dedication helped their team to victory, as BC Meershuttle J5 took first place in their group competition.
As a result of their remarkable performance, both students have qualified for the Dutch Championship 2025, which will take place on May 30th. This is a fantastic achievement, and we’re excited to support them as they continue to represent our school.
We wish Anaira and Arna the best of luck as they prepare for the Dutch Championship! Let’s continue to cheer them on!
