Optimist International School is Moving!
We are thrilled to announce a major step forward for Optimist International School: our move to a new, larger campus in response to the needs of our growing school community.
With over 287 students currently enrolled, our school is expanding, and we are excited to relocate just 1.7 km from our current location in Hoofddorp to a spacious new site at Community School In de Breedte, Dussenstraat, in Floriande-centrum. A phased move will allow us to better serve our students and staff while creating a more inspiring learning environment.
The new campus will offer several fantastic facilities, including:
- Ample parking spaces
- A large shared hall for school events
- A gymnasium for physical education for younger students
- A spacious sports hall for various activities
- Large outdoor play areas for recreational activities
- Easy access to public transport (bus 341 stops right outside)
Exciting Changes Ahead
We are currently working hard to ensure that this transition happens as smoothly as possible for all our students and families. The move will take place in phases.
As part of this exciting development, we are also planning to extend our collaboration with UniKidz to the new campus locations. This will allow us to continue providing the best possible services and support to our students and families.
We understand how important it is to keep everyone informed during this time of change. We will continue to provide regular updates to all parents of OIS students through Parro and other communication channels.
